After the holidays, Humphrey is shocked by a big surprise in Room 26-a new class pet! Humphrey tries to be welcoming, but Og the frog doesn't respond to any of his friendly squeaks or visits (remember, he has a lock-that-doesn't-lock). Plus, the students are so interested in Og, they almost stop paying attention to Humphrey altogether. Humphrey doesn't like the mad-bad-sad feelings he's had since Og came, but luckily he still gets to have adventures with different kids on the weekends. Friendship can be tricky, but Humphrey is an intrepid problem-solver. If any hamster can become buddies with a frog, he can.
Cat got a soccer ball for his birthday, and he and his friends challenged the Rockets to a game. But they didn't know the rules, and the Rockets walked off the field. So Old Turtle volunteered to teach them, and after much practice, they turned out to be winners. Full color.

A collection of drills ranging in level from the most basic to fairly advanced, this book will help any coach grow their players' skills as individuals and as a team. Each chapter features a variety of drills at three different levels as well as drills that can be beneficial for all players, no matter their skill level. With this book as the coach's planning tool, every practice can be made challenging and engaging for all of a team's players without being too frustrating for those who are just beginning in the sport and too easy for those who have played before.
After you have read this book, you'll know the essentials that underpin every effective soccer team.
Essentials that you can put to use for a lifetime... either as a coach or as a young player.
This is not another book about “drills and skills”.
It’s not a book about tactics.
It’s a book that aims to get inside the minds of coaches and young players.
Its purpose is to create an “operating system” of ideas and attitudes, that positively impact every game of soccer that young players take part in.
Get hold of these fundamentals today, and see the difference they can make to your team's performance.
