Premier roman d''Azouz Begag, Le Gone du Chaâba a connu un succès considérable et a été adapté au cinéma par Christophe Ruggia, en 1997.

Hierzu wurde der Roman Le gone du Chaâba von Azouz Begag ausgewählt. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es eine Unterrichtsplanung für eine geeignete Klassenstufe zu entwerfen. Das Entwerfen eines solchen Plans erfordert sehr viele Vorüberlegungen. In vorhergehenden Kapiteln wird sich zunächst mit diesen Vorüberlegungen auseinandergesetzt. Dazu gehören die didaktischen Ziele und Motivationsmöglichkeiten. Ebenso wichtig ist eine Auseinandersetzung mit dem Inhalt und der Sprache um sich für eine geeignete Klassenstufe zu entscheiden und um eventuelles Voraussetzungswissen in vorherigen Stunden einzuführen oder zu wiederholen.
Einen wesentlichen Teil bildet die Grobplanung eines Unterrichtsentwurfes über mehrere Stunden. Hier soll überlegt werden, wie das Lesen des Romans organisiert werden soll, welche Stellen übersprungen werden und welche Stellen intensiver zu lesen sind. Die Grobplanung setzt sich aber auch mit der Behandlung der Sprache und des Themas auseinander und gibt einen Überblick, welche Ziele im Laufe der Behandlung des Buches erreicht werden sollen. Anhand eines Beispiels soll im letzten Teil eine Stunde genauer betrachtet werden um auf einzelne didaktisch-methodische Ziele eingehen zu können.

Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Romanistik - Französisch - Literatur, einseitig bedruckt, Note: 1,3, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main (Institut für Romanische Sprachen und Literaturen), Veranstaltung: Erzählte Welt aus Kinderaugen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Azouz Begag, Autor zahlreicher Romane und Erzählungen, sowohl für Erwachsene als auch für Kinder, ist zweifelsohne einer der bekanntesten Vertreter der Littérature Beur. In vielen seiner Romanen scheint er seine eigenen Erfahrungen als Kind algerischer Eltern, aufgewachsen in einem Bidonville Lyons, verarbeiten zu wollen. So wird sein Werk Le gone du Chaâba auch häufig als autobiographischer Roman klassifiziert. In seinen Werken thematisiert er die verschiedensten Probleme der Einwanderungskinder, wie beispielsweise das Leben im Ghetto, Rassismus, Arbeitslosigkeit, aber ebenso das Thema der Identitätsproblematik, der Transkulturalität und der Selbstfindung. Dies wird auch in seinem Roman Le Gone du Chaâba deutlich, in welchem der kleine Azouz seine Identität je nach Situation immer neu definieren muss um so seinen eigenen Platz in der Gesellschaft zu finden. Aber wie genau spiegelt sich diese Identitätsproblematik in Le Gone du Chaâba wieder? Und inwieweit stellt das Werk eine realistische Wiederspiegelung der Identitätsfindung und -bildung eines bi-kulturellen Jugendlichen dar.
